	The 65-ton Jagermech was developed in order to fix problems occuring with the older Rifleman design, problems like the Rifleman´s tendency for overheating, or its insufficient amunition supply. The new Jagermech proved to be a successful battlemech, and is especially well suited as anti-aircraft platform. House Davion is known for favouring the Jagermech, which is widely used. This special version (as seen in the Mechcommander-game) is even five tons larger than older models.
